See you in November 2026!
Competitive season varies greatly from the sideline season. Rather than cheering on other teams, we are cheering for ourselves against other teams throughout the state. We compete in Invitationals, League Conference Meets and Championships, and state sanctioned districts, regionals and states. Michigan Competitive Cheerleading in High School is much different than most, if not all, other states. We don't compete to music, instead, we perform three different rounds with vocals only. Round1 is our motions and jumps round. Round 2 is our compulsory round and is the round that qualifies cheerleading as a sport in Michigan High School Athletics. Round 3 is our open round and primarily focuses on stunting with some required team tumbling included.
